It's time
Taking inspiration from my upbringing in the the western horseback-riding culture, my love for surfing and my travels, I now present the launch of my brand: Coastal Rider.
The Full Story About
With a burning passion for women's health and a strong idea of encouraging an active and free lifestyle for girls, I wanted to create clothing reflecting this. All pieces from Coastal Rider are made by natural, breathable materials. Linen, cotton and viscose - no plastic in sight. It's flowy, comfortable and most of all: functional. With styles combining western, surf, and femininity into something unique.
Production is based in a family owned factory just 30 minutes from Porto, Portugal. This wonderful factory sources all their materials within a 35 kilometer range - making it a lot more sustainable than most other factories. Their awareness of the fact that about 60% of all clothes produced in the world gets burned, is the reason they only produce small quantities, focuing on high quality and sustainability in every step of the way. All their seamstresses are greatly cared for, with a good wage and a strong community. Furtermore, 70% of their energy use comes from solar panels on the roof of the factory. It doesn't get better than that!

Who is it for?
Coastal Rider is made for artsy, wild & adventurous girls who let their hair be messy and the sun make freckles on their cheeks. They love being outdoors, in the ocean, trees, and mountains. They are untamed, free spirited and love being alive <3

KOKOS SKIRT
A short skirt with built-in shorts that allow you to feel free and confident doing any activity.
The material is a comfortable yet structured linen/viscose-blend in a cream colour. Horisontal ruching creates a cool effect on the top half and vertical ruching creates little ruffles in the flowy bottom part.
It is mid-rise, closing with a hidden zip on the side. And of course, with pockets deep enough to hold your essentials on both sides.
The Kokos Skirt is simple, yet pretty and works for every occasion - both for everyday wear and when you want to dress up. Simply, the perfect skirt!

Please observe: The Kokos dress design is still in revision and the pictures are not entirely accurate. The final product will have a more feminine shape, with a defined waist, accentuated bust, and flowy bottom part.
A short dress with built-in shorts in a comfortable yet structured linen/viscose-blend. Closing with a hidden zip on the side, and with pockets deep enough to hold all of your essentials on both sides.
The Kokos dress and skirt are sisters. Same idea, slightly different approach. The hidden shorts provide the same freedom in the dress as in the skirt.
Vertical ruching over the bust accentuates the area, and trumpet sleeves create a nice feminine shape. A simple yet gorgeous dress that is perfect for both everyday wear and easy to dress up for a dressier look.
SUNSET SURF HOODIE
A comfortable, breathable hoodie with a unique cut, in a 210 GSM linen-cotton blend. Perfect to throw on after a sunset surf to stay warm, but light enough to use as a cover up at the beach as well.
The fit is loose, with slight trumpet sleeves, deep pockets on each side and a cross-closure at the top which adds a cool detail. The drawstrings in the bottom part allows you to wear it boxy or defined, depending on your style and mood.

WHO AM I?
My name is Rebecca, and I'm a 23 year old creative soul from the southwest coast of Sweden. I am also a western-rider, a surfer and an artist of many kinds.
When I was 17 years old I started my first company, selling my photography, videography, graphic design, web development and most of all: social media marketing.
Ever since I was a child I dreamt of being a designer and having my own fashion brand. Today, that is my truth and I am so grateful and excited to start this journey!
I love travelling, and living in different countries to learn about their culture and lifestyle. So far, I have tried living in Costa Rica, Australia, Greece and of course Sweden. My travels are my biggest source of creative inspiration and I dream of one day visiting every country in the world.
